What is Micro-needling?
Micro-needling also referred to as dermal rolling is the controlled injury of the dermis or epidermis thereby producing collagen and elastin and allowing medical skin products to penetrate deeply and therefore delivering greater benefits to the skin.
The micro-needling roller has tiny acupuncture-like needles on the surface which are rolled into the skin by Dr. Kajee. The rollers we use at our practice are medical grade rollers and the length of the needles are between 1mm and 3mm. We therefore use topical anesthetic to numb the skin first.
What are the benefits of Micro-needling?
Collagen induction: the skin stops producing collagen at the age of 25.
Elastin production: Elasticity is compromised with age
Enables deep penetration of skin products
Breaks up fibrous tissues causing scars to heal and the appearance to improve
Treats acne and acne scarring
Treats pigmentation
Fills up fine lines and wrinkles
Treats cellulite
What is “The Zen Liquid Face-Lift”?
A blend of minimally invasive aesthetic medical rejuvenation procedures tailor-made for your individual rejuvenation needs.
As we age, we lose volume in our cheeks, lips and other areas of the face and skin. By adding fillers to these areas, we can recreate a youthful appearance.
Jowls can be reversed as well as hollowness under the eyes.
Fillers are also used for hand, chest and neck rejuvenation.
Wrinkles around the eyes known as crows feet, forehead wrinkles, frown lines, bunny lines, marionette lines, neck lines and other wrinkles are treated using Botox.
We include a peel with “The Zen Liquid Face-Lift” to rejuvenate the skin.
Cost is dependent on patient’s individual needs and will be determined through consultation.
